Cinemad preestrena el sábado 20 de noviembre en la Sala Berlanga de Madrid a las 18:00 horas THE MAN WHO SAW FRANKENSTEIN CRY de Ángel Agudo.
Tal y como puede verse en el buzón de correo de su casa, Jacinto Molina era dos personas al mismo tiempo. Por un lado, el hijo del peletero de la madrileña calle Postas y el joven que se quedó a las puertas de ir a los juegos olímpicos de Roma y Tokio, y por otro, Paul Naschy, el mito que firmaba autógrafos durante horas en Nueva York y Los Ángeles y al que telefoneó Steven Spielberg para pedirle copias de sus películas. Presentado por el director y guionista norteamericano Mick Garris (Masters of Horror, Apocalipsis, El Resplandor), EL HOMBRE QUE VIO LLORAR A FRANKENSTEIN (The man who saw Frankenstein cry) repasa la trayectoria de ambas facetas, entremezclándolas para explicar cómo la figura de Paul Naschy nunca hubiera existido sin las mil anécdotas que forman la biografía de Jacinto Molina. Para ello, se recuperarán parte de los miles de fotografías de su archivo personal y se visitarán lugares imprescindibles en su vida, como el pueblo cántabro de Mazcuerras, donde vivió parte de la Guerra Civil; Burgos, donde el gótico moldeó parte de la imaginería que plasmó en su cine y ciudad donde hoy está enterrado; o su propio domicilio, en el que recibió falsos paquetes bomba de la extrema derecha a causa de haber participado en cintas como Comando Txikia o El francotirador. Al mismo tiempo, compañeros de profesión como Joe Dante, John Landis, Jordi Grau o Nacho Cerdá hablan de su experiencia junto a Naschy y diseccionan su carrera, revelando anécdotas y periodos poco conocidos de la vida del cineasta.

As can be seen in the mailbox of his house, Jacinto Molina was two people at the same time. On one hand, the son of furrier in Postas Street in Madrid and the young man who was on the verge of going to the Olympic Games in Rome and Tokyo, and on the other hand, Paul Naschy, the legend who signed autographs for hours in New York and Los Angeles and Steven Spielberg who phoned to ask for copies of their films. Presented by American writer-director Mick Garris (Masters of Horror, Apocalypse, The Shining), THE MAN WHO SAW MOURN A FRANKENSTEIN (The man who saw Frankenstein cry) reviews the history of both sides, intermixing them to explain how the figure of Paul Naschy would never have happened without the thousands of stories that make up the biography of Jacinto Molina. To do this, we will regain some of the thousands of photographs from his personal archives and you will visit the most essential parts of his life, such as Mazcuerras Cantabrian town where he lived part of the Civil War, Burgos, where the Gothic shaped part of the imagery reflected in his films and city where he is buried, or even his own home, where she received fake parcel bomb on the far right because of having participated in movies like Commando Txikia or The Sniper. At the same time, colleagues such as Joe Dante, John Landis, Jordi Grau or Nacho Cerda talk about their experience close to Naschys career and thet dissect his career, revealing anecdotes and little-known periods of the life of the filmmaker.

THE CINEMA OF ALAIN RESNAIS
Jean-Luc Godard said about him that "if the short film did not exist, Resnais probably would have invented it." Cinemad therefore pays tribute to this important figure of the French Nouvelle Vague with the screening of short documentaries: VAN GOGH, Guernica, Gauguin, ALL MEMORY OF THE WORLD and THE SONG OF STYRENE and the feature film Last Year at Marienbad whose script is Alain Robbe-Grillet, one of the most important French writers of his generation, leader of the Nouveau Roman literary movement.

Por ello Cinemad rinde homenaje a esta importante figura de la nouvelle vague francesa con la proyección de sus cortos documentales: VAN GOGH, GUERNICA, GAUGUIN, TODA LA MEMORIA DEL MUNDO y EL CANTO DEL ESTIRENO y el largometraje EL AÑO PASADO EN MARIENBAD cuyo guión es de Alain Robbe-Grillet, uno de los escritores franceses más relevantes de su generación; cabecilla del movimiento literario Nouveau Roman.
Uno de los cineastas más originales e influyentes de la antigua Checoslovaquia. En su filmografía se combinan la animación con la imagen real, el cine fantástico con la comedia satírica, el universo de Jules Verne con las leyendas tradicionales europeas. Nacido en Ostromer, Moravia, el 3 de noviembre de 1910, Karel Zeman estudió diseño publicitario y decoración en Praga y París. Trabajó como dibujante en la empresa publicitaria Bata, colaborando también en sus cortometrajes animados. Su primer cortometraje como director, “Sueño de Navidad” (1946), obtuvo un premio en el Festival de Cannes. En 1952, realizó su primer largometraje, “El tesoro de la isla de los pájaros”, protagonizado por marionetas animadas. Dos años más tarde, en 1955, combinó dibujos animados y personajes reales en “Viaje a la prehistoria”. En los años 60, se hace mundialmente famoso con sus adaptaciones de novelas de Jules Verne, “Un invento diabólico” (1958), “El dirigible robado” (1967) y “En un cometa” (1970), repletas de homenajes visuales a los grabados de Gustave Doré. Aunque quizás sea “El barón fantástico” (1961), versión cinematográfica de las aventuras del Barón Munchausen imaginadas y escritas por el poeta alemán Gottfried Burger, el film que lo consagró definitivamente. Falleció el 5 de abril de 1989. KAREL ZEMAN
One of the most original and influential filmmakers of the former Czechoslovakia. In his films combines animation with live-action, the fantastic with the satirical comedy, the universe of Jules Verne with the traditional European legends. Born in Ostrom, Moravia, on November 3, 1910, Karel Zeman studied advertising design and decoration in Prague and Paris. He worked as a draftsman in the advertising company Bata, collaborating in their animated shorts. His first film as director, "Christmas Dream" (1946), won an award at the Cannes Film Festival. In 1952, he made his first feature, "The Treasure of Bird Island," featuring animated puppets. Two years later, in 1955, combined animation and live characters in "Journey to prehistory." In the 60's, is world famous for his adaptations of novels by Jules Verne, "A diabolical invention" (1958), "The airship stolen" (1967) and "A Comet" (1970), replete with visual tributes the engravings of Gustave Doré. Although it may be "The great baron" (1961), film version of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen imagined and written by the German poet Gottfried Burger, the film that established him permanently. He died on April 5, 1989. Circuito de Cine es un festival itinerante que programa un ciclo de cine documental cuya temática se desarrolla en torno a las relaciones entre el ser humano y el medio ambiente, consumo responsable, conciencia ecológica y desarrollo sostenible. Circuito de Cine is an itinerant festival schedules a documentary film series whose theme revolves around the relationship between humans and the environment, responsible consumption, ecological awareness and sustainable development. This cycle solutions about the audience and paradigm shifts that we offer scientists and specialists who have somehow found formulas that will change our habits. Film Circuit is looking for solutions and offering it to you, then it is the viewer who decides if you want and worth trying the change. The screening of films will continue with a discussion led by the Director of the cycle, Daniela Mahr where experts on responsible consumption we explain the operation of fair trade and answer questions from the audience.

En esta ocasión, comparte cartel con otros personajes míticos de la lucha libre mexicana: Mil Máscaras y Blue Demon con quien se enfrenta a las Momias de Gauanajuato y con Huracán Ramírez, personaje creado por Juan Rodríguez, hijo del cineasta Joselito Roriguez. Juntos hicieron en 1952 la película “Huracán Ramírez” cuyo gran éxito traería más secuelas y llega hasta el ring porque la gente lo pedía en las arenas.

MEXICAN FIGHTERS
Cinemad has made homage in several editions to Santo, the masked most famous of all time. This time, shares the bill with other mythical characters of Mexican wrestling, Mil Mascaras and Blue Demon with who faces the Mummies of Gauanajuato and Huracan Ramirez, a character created by Juan Rodriguez, son of filmmaker Roriguez Joselito. Together they made in 1952 the movie "Huracan Ramirez" whose success would bring more sequels and reaches the ring because people asked in the sand.

On Sunday November 21 we will make a special appearance at the Picnic bar of the film Tierra de Cierzo by Jorge Nebra which tells the story of music and SPAIN ARAGON from late 70s to the present days, with the protagonists of the film. To complete this journey also be screening short film Don Quijote de La Marcha, also of Jorge Nebra (1999) and Psicoman contra Superzorra of director Peter Rogríguez, 2002.
